The new HEINE X Series.
Completely reimagined. Completely remade.

HEINE presents a new generation of handheld diagnostic instruments: the HEINE X Series. Building on 80 years of experience and with profound expertise in developing and manufacturing high-quality medical technology, the new product series scores top marks with its sophisticated functionality and exceptional durability. It’s an investment that pays off.

The new BETA X Otoscope and the new BETA X Ophthalmoscope initially have been available since 2025. The GAMMA 3.2 acoustic stethoscope, a versatile all-rounder, is another member of the HEINE X Series with matching colours.

HEINE BETA X Otoscope: Interchangeable optical modules and inSPECT additional light

The BETA X is the world’s first otoscope with an additional integrated examination light and exchangeable optical modules. With the integrated examination light, HEINE inSPECT, it provides optimised illumination to examine the eyes, nose, mouth and throat. The touch of a button is all it takes to switch from otoscope to examination light – no need to change instruments. Another practical feature is the HEINE X CHANGE System, which enables you to expand the function of your BETA X Otoscope with easily interchangeable modules.

HEINE BETA X Ophthalmoscope: With new AOS+ optical system and focusCONTROL

The new AOS+ optical system ensures a razor-sharp, clear view of the fundus in the BETA X Ophthalmoscope. It reduces reflections in the cornea even more effectively now thanks to the optimised separation of the illumination beam and observation path. The new focusCONTROL feature allows easy switching between focus on the anterior segment of the eye and the fundus.

Lighter and handier – yet extremely durable

Something you pick up frequently should be pleasant to hold. Alongside intuitive operation and a good ergonomic design, weight naturally plays a role here too. One of the requirements when developing the new X Series was to reduce the weight. The new BETA X instruments are considerably lighter than the BETA 200 ones thanks to a clever choice of materials, the use of aluminium and a housing made of a special high-impact material blend.

At the heart of both new BETA instruments is a solid aluminium frame.
All the other components are precisely mounted on top of it.
