HEINE DELTA 30 PRO quality dermatoscope with improved depth imaging and colorSHIFT

HEINE is continuing its successful series of DELTA dermatoscopes with the HEINE DELTA 30 PRO. To improve depth visualisation of layers of the skin, the developers have rearranged the LEDs used for illumination in the DELTA 30 PRO. So the light reaches deeper layers of the skin – giving an extremely vivid, spatial impression of lesions. Practitioners can also choose individual colour temperatures for illumination to suit their personal preferences.

An individual colour temperature for illumination can be selected in four levels

Practitioners who work with dermatoscopes from different manufacturers are well aware of the fact that – depending on what instrument you are using – the colours of skin lesions appear slightly different: sometimes they are more yellowish, and other times they are bluish. This is because the light sources used in the dermatoscope in question have an influence on the illumination and thus on the skin’s general colour appearance.

HEINE DELTA dermatoscopes work with very high-quality LEDs (LED HQ) that make colours in skin lesions appear as true to life as possible. For dermatologists who are familiar with the characteristic colour temperatures of different devices, it can be helpful to individually adjust them if, for example, they are routinely used to a slightly more yellowish light.

That’s why HEINE has added a new colorSHIFT function for making individual settings to the DELTA 30 PRO. Warm white, neutral white, cool white and bluish white illumination modes are available.

Diagnosis possible independent of distance

The HEINE DELTA 30 PRO has precision optics that keep the visualisation sharp and crystal clear at all times – whether practitioners or medical professionals are conducting examinations at short or longer working distances. The instrument’s angled, ergonomic handle prevents the hand from coming into direct contact with the patient’s skin.

For pressure-free examination of raised skin lesions and superficial vessels

or non-contact examination of minor wounds and ulcerative skin lesions, a stable working ring is available as an accessory for the DELTA 30 PRO for the first time ever. It keeps the distance between the skin and the dermatoscope constant. The HEINE diSTANCE working ring is used instead of the regular contact plate and can be ordered separately.

Using the digital, photographic memory

The DELTA 30 PRO is excellent for digital imaging with almost all available smartphones and the HEINE universal adapter. By using it in combination with the HEINE DERManager, it is possible to create, manage and document images over time. This also produces dermatoscopic documentation of findings so that practitioners can seek second opinions, should they be necessary.
